How will my data be used?

Who is collecting data?
 

GO Resilient Inc. (also referred to as the “Data Controller”) is a Canadian distributor of vinyl matting products. Our products are sold across Canada through a network of sales partners and distributors.
 

What data is being collected?
 

We may collect the following personal and business information:

  • ​Name – typically for company buyers, sales, or accounts contacts

  • Job title

  • Company name

  • Contact information – including email, business address, and telephone numbers

  • Website usage – via analytical and targeting cookies to improve user experience

  • Marketing preferences – such as product interests and purchase history


How we collect your data?

  • Direct interactions – when corresponding with us at trade shows, by phone, email, web forms, or when ordering samples online

  • Referrals – via distributor or supplier introductions

We collect and use your data to:

  • Provide information you’ve requested

  • Fulfil sample and product orders

We may send marketing communications under Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL) where:

  • We have an existing business relationship or legitimate interest

Will the data be shared with third parties?
In the course of conducting business, your data may be shared with:

  • Our sister companies, Plastex Matting Inc. (USA) and Plastic Extruders Ltd (UK) 

  • Authorized distributors or agents, where relevant to your enquiry or location

 

We may also store or process data in other countries, including the USA and UK. In these cases, we ensure your data is protected under applicable privacy regulations and internal safeguards. Your data will never be sold or used for unrelated third-party marketing.

Retention period
We retain personal data for a minimum of 10 years, or as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. If you have opted into marketing, your data will be retained until you withdraw your consent.

 

Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent or object to how your data is used.
